Laminate

Laminate sheets are a composite material manufactured at high temperatures and with great pressure with the use of High Pressure Laminate (HPL) and Continuous High Pressure Laminate (CHPL) machines in compliance with EN 438-3. The core part of the material is strong and flexible due to the phenolic resin impregnated wood-based saturated virgin fiber kraft paper layers that it is comprised of. Whereas, its decorative surfaces are highly resistant to wear, impact, heat and staining due to the thermosetting resin impregnated decorative woodbased cellulose paper layers that they are comprised of.

Formats

Laminate sheets are available in a wide range of formats. However, availability depends on the product, grade and/or the finish. Not all decors & designs are available in all products, grades and finishes. Thought should be given in terms of specifying the most economical sheet size for minimizing the material wastage. Laminate sheets weight approximately 3.196 lbs per 10.763 ft² per 0,0393 in of thickness of the sheet.

Laminate sheets are manufactured in compliance with EN 438-2:2005 and ISO 4586 standards. In terms of complying to the specifications of these standards, Laminate sheets are tested for resistance to stains, dimensional stability, resistance to dry heat, reaction to fire, resistance to boiling water, resistance to steam, resistance to impact, resistance to cracking, resistance to scratching, resistance to surface wear, resistance to cigarette burns, resistance to colour change in artificial light, post formability.

Being celulose-based materials, like any other wood-based material, Laminate sheets may shrink at low humidity levels as they loose moisture and expand at high humidity levels as they absorb moisture. It is therefore fundamental to let the sheets acclimatize at their final destination prior to their fabrication and application to prevent cracking and/or adhesive bond failure for a minimum of 3 days. Laminate sheets along with the substrate materials are to be acclimatize before bonding in terms of reaching an equilibrium. Optimum conditions are best achieved in a dry storage space for preventing both the sheets and the substrate materials being neither too dry nor too damp. In addition, the sheets that will form the reverse faces of a composite board should be acclimatized together being exposed to same conditions as a pair for reaching a moisture equilibrium.

Laminate sheets are available in a wide range of different products, grades and finishes which are available over a number of ranges while others are integral to particular decors and/or designs. Laminate is available in 400+ decors & designs, 10+ products, 5+ grades and 30+ finishes.

INTERIOR
Interior Compact

Interior Compact is made for all interior applications. Aside from its use as washroom cubicles, locker doors, wall panels and laboratory furniture, it can also be used for any other indoor-application.

Interior Compact panels are available in standard quality Interior Compact and flame and fire-retardant quality  Interior Compact-FR. The fire behavior of Interior Compact is excellent. It does not melt, drip or explode and maintains its stability for an extended period of time.

Interior Compact is structurally stable, robust, solid and a composite material manufactured under a high temperature at 150 degrees Celcius | 302 degrees Fahrenheit and with great pressure at 9 Megapascals | 90 Bars with the use of High Pressure Laminate (HPL) press machines in compliance with EN 438-2 Part 4, and Part 7. The core part of the material is comprised of phenolic resin impregnated wood-based saturated virgin fiber kraft paper layers. Whereas, its decorative surfaces are made of thermosetting resin impregnated decorative wood-based cellulose paper layers.

Made for all outdoor applications. Can be used as a facade cladding material and for any other outdoor-application such as balconies, exterior furniture, sun-blinds, fascias, soffits, canopies, parapets, signages, porches, balustrades, railing-fillers, decorative fences, shutters and for a wide range of other exterior applications.

Exterior panels are available in standard quality  Exterior, and flame &  fire retardant quality Exterior-FR.
